Nefyn

Sandy bays and a pub on the beach.

Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn sit on the north coast of Llŷn, with long sandy bays and the headland at Porthdinllaen, where the Tŷ Coch Inn sits right on the beach. Walkers on the Wales Coast Path, golfers and families come for the views, and they look up where to stay and eat on their phone.

I'm in Barmouth, about an hour and a quarter away, so I can come and see you in person.

Search

Who's searching in Nefyn.

Porthdinllaen is one of the best known views in Wales, and getting to it is half the story: you park and walk across the clifftop golf course, or along the beach at low tide. Plenty of the people searching for it also want lunch, parking and somewhere to stay nearby, which is exactly where local businesses come in.

The coast path brings walkers through all season, often staying a night or two and booking ahead for beds and evening meals. The golf course on the headland brings its own visitors, who need somewhere to stay and eat after their round.

Out of season it's a small, strongly Welsh-speaking community with trades and services covering the north of Llŷn. Winter storms off the Irish Sea mean roofs, windows and holiday homes need looking after, and the owners of those homes are often searching from miles away.

Why most Nefyn sites don’t bring work

What should a website actually do for you?

It's 2026. Customers expect you to have a website, and they judge you by it. Yet most small businesses see theirs as a cost that never pays back. When someone lands on your site, it has three jobs, in this order.

A visitor lands From Google, a recommendation or your van. You have seconds.
1
Say what you fixPeople rarely want to read about a service. They want to know what problem you solve for them, in the simplest terms.
2
Earn their trustBefore they get in touch, people look for reviews and examples of your work. That's the cost of entry.
3
Make the next step obviousClear calls to action for whatever matters to you: booking an appointment, a viewing or an enquiry.
New enquiry A call, a booking or a message, landing with you.

Get these three right and your website starts bringing in work.

Every site I build is planned around your business and its goal. Not a template with your logo on.

FAQ

Questions from Nefyn businesses.

Something else on your mind? Ask me directly.

Visitors come for Porthdinllaen. How do I catch them?

Say how close you are and what you offer them: parking, lunch, a bed for the night. People searching for the walk are planning the whole day, and a site that fits into that plan gets the visit.

I'm in Morfa Nefyn or Edern, not Nefyn itself. Is that covered?

Yes. Your site can say exactly which villages you're in and serve, so you show up in Nefyn searches as well as your own.

Do walkers on the coast path really search ahead?

They do, because beds along the path fill up. Say how far you are from the path, whether you do evening meals or packed lunches, and if there's somewhere to dry boots. That's what decides it.

Do you work with businesses in Nefyn?

Yes. I'm based in Barmouth and work with businesses in Nefyn, Morfa Nefyn, Edern and Pistyll. I'll come to you.

Can you take over my existing site?

Often, yes. Send me the link and I'll tell you honestly whether it's worth keeping or starting fresh.

Danny at Wild Origines is so good that part of me wants to keep him a secret, but he deserves every bit of this review.

We’ve worked closely together to bring my company template and redevelop my current website, as well as effectively another new company website, and he’s been fantastic throughout. He’s worked all hours, taken the time to explain everything clearly, and consistently gone above and beyond. We’ve built a great relationship, and he’s been an absolute dream to work with.

What really sets Danny apart is his ability to think outside the box and create beautiful features that work brilliantly. He understands our philosophy while bringing sound business judgement, alongside expertise in AI and systems. It’s the perfect blend, and everything you could want in a web developer and far more.

Saying I wouldn’t hesitate to use Danny again doesn’t quite cover it. As long as he’s building websites, I won’t be going anywhere else. We’re already looking at other projects together, which probably says it all. I'd also recommend him to everyone and anyone who needs his services.

The website that Danny at Wild Origins has created for my business is far superior to the one I'd had before.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the design and he has showed great patience. Taking the time to understanding my vision and paying attention to all the details I wanted. He's been absolutely brilliant, and honestly can't recommend him enough. The evening my new website went live, I gained two new clients instantly!

We’re really happy with our new website!

A big thank you to Danny for making the whole process so easy and straightforward. He was friendly, helpful, and great to work with from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, and we’re really pleased with the end result. Would definitely recommend Danny to anyone looking for a new website!
