Caernarfon

A castle town that works in Welsh.

Caernarfon is a working Welsh town wrapped around one of the most famous castles in the world. Visitors come for the castle and the town walls, the Welsh Highland Railway and the waterfront at Doc Victoria, and they decide where to eat and what to see on their phone.

I'm in Barmouth, a little over an hour away, so I can come and see you in person.

Search

Who's searching in Caernarfon.

The castle and town walls are part of a World Heritage Site, and they bring coach parties, cruise visitors and families through the old town all summer. Most of them have a few hours and a phone. They want lunch near Y Maes, a shop with something Welsh to take home, and maybe a boat trip on the Menai Strait.

Caernarfon is also one of the most Welsh-speaking towns in Wales, with a busy creative side. Galeri on the waterfront is home to studios and small firms, and there's a cluster of Welsh-language media and creative businesses in and around the town. Those businesses sell their work, and their site is often the first thing a new client sees.

Then there are the trades and services covering a wide patch: across to Y Felinheli and Bangor, up to Llanberis and down to the villages of Arfon. The people searching for them look at the area as much as the town, so it pays to say exactly where you work.

Why most Caernarfon sites don’t bring work

What should a website actually do for you?

It's 2026. Customers expect you to have a website, and they judge you by it. Yet most small businesses see theirs as a cost that never pays back. When someone lands on your site, it has three jobs, in this order.

A visitor lands From Google, a recommendation or your van. You have seconds.
1
Say what you fixPeople rarely want to read about a service. They want to know what problem you solve for them, in the simplest terms.
2
Earn their trustBefore they get in touch, people look for reviews and examples of your work. That's the cost of entry.
3
Make the next step obviousClear calls to action for whatever matters to you: booking an appointment, a viewing or an enquiry.
New enquiry A call, a booking or a message, landing with you.

Get these three right and your website starts bringing in work.

Every site I build is planned around your business and its goal. Not a template with your logo on.

FAQ

Questions from Caernarfon businesses.

Something else on your mind? Ask me directly.

I'm a creative business with a portfolio. What should the site do?

Show the work big and keep it quick to load on a phone. Then make it easy to see what you offer and how to get in touch. A new client decides from your best three or four pieces, not from fifty.

Do coach and cruise visitors really look businesses up?

They do, standing in the street with a couple of hours to fill. A site with your opening hours, what you sell and a map catches them before the next shop does.

Can you help me get found in Bangor and Llanberis too?

Yes. I list the places you cover in plain words and in what Google reads, so you can show up in searches across Arfon, not just in Caernarfon itself.

Do you work with businesses in Caernarfon?

Yes. I'm based in Barmouth and work with businesses in Caernarfon, Y Felinheli, Llanberis and Bontnewydd. I'll come to you.

Can you take over my existing site?

Often, yes. Send me the link and I'll tell you honestly whether it's worth keeping or starting fresh.

Danny at Wild Origines is so good that part of me wants to keep him a secret, but he deserves every bit of this review.

We’ve worked closely together to bring my company template and redevelop my current website, as well as effectively another new company website, and he’s been fantastic throughout. He’s worked all hours, taken the time to explain everything clearly, and consistently gone above and beyond. We’ve built a great relationship, and he’s been an absolute dream to work with.

What really sets Danny apart is his ability to think outside the box and create beautiful features that work brilliantly. He understands our philosophy while bringing sound business judgement, alongside expertise in AI and systems. It’s the perfect blend, and everything you could want in a web developer and far more.

Saying I wouldn’t hesitate to use Danny again doesn’t quite cover it. As long as he’s building websites, I won’t be going anywhere else. We’re already looking at other projects together, which probably says it all. I'd also recommend him to everyone and anyone who needs his services.

The website that Danny at Wild Origins has created for my business is far superior to the one I'd had before.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the design and he has showed great patience. Taking the time to understanding my vision and paying attention to all the details I wanted. He's been absolutely brilliant, and honestly can't recommend him enough. The evening my new website went live, I gained two new clients instantly!

We’re really happy with our new website!

A big thank you to Danny for making the whole process so easy and straightforward. He was friendly, helpful, and great to work with from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, and we’re really pleased with the end result. Would definitely recommend Danny to anyone looking for a new website!
